The 6-Strain (with nook) Cannador® is a great product for the strain conscious connoisseur who likes to keep larger amounts of herbs separated and fresh with six glass cups and a small nook to keep your accoutrements. You can store up to 1.5 ounces in this beautifully crafted piece with a walnut or mahogany exterior veneer and solid wood mahogany interior. With two separate layers of wood and a dual-fitted lip, you can rest assured no smell will leak. A nook separated by a small wooden lid can store your accoutrements or up to three additional small 1/4 oz glass cups. The finish is a clear matte to give a more natural look and feel to the wood. Mahogany is a lighter more blonde color and walnut is darker brown.
Add a statement to your coffee table, desk, armoire or dresser, and comfortably separate and store your top shelf collection in a hand crafted Cannador®. Regulate humidity using either a rechargeable bead system or humidity packs to ensure your bud stays fresh and long lasting. These products are great for storage or dry-bud revival.
The 6-Strain Cannador® contains six glass cups, each of which hold 1/4 oz (or 1/2 oz ground) and can therefore easily fit 1.5 ounces total. There is also a side-cubby (nook) to keep your accoutrements. The following is included:
- Six small 1/4 oz (or 1/2 oz ground) glass cups with adjustable ventilated lids
- Six airtight lids
- Six rewritable strain labels
- Two keys
- VaporBeads
Each removable glass cup has an adjustable ventilated lid that slides open to allow for moist air from the humidity system to keep things fresh. The lids can be adjusted to be closed or opened to allow for humidified air to pass through. A wooden plate keeps these glass cups in place.
Nook dimensions are 8” x 2.75” x 2.5”
TIPS ON SEASONING:
Sometimes the wipe-down method (wiping a wet cloth on the inside of the humidor) shocks the wood and does not fully allow the wood to retain moisture. In this case, add a half filled shot glass of water into your humidor and let it sit idle for a week or until the water has fully evaporated. This method is a slower and sometimes more stable way to let your humidor acclimate to moisture.
Re-season your humidor after long-periods of inactivity. Sometimes you’ll notice that your VaporBeads dry out very quickly in the humidor because the wood can become dry. The wood can act like a sponge and soak up all the moisture from the VaporBeads, so re-season the humidor so the wood does not absorb as much moisture from the VaporBeads.
